Who we are

True North Local ("we") builds websites, ads, short videos and related services for local businesses ("you"). Contact: truenorthlocal993@gmail.com.

Services

We provide the services you choose at signup, such as: Websites, Website redesign, Ads, Monthly posting, Short videos, Website chat, Customer support help, Custom automation. The exact scope, price and start date are confirmed in writing before any work begins.

Getting started

Monthly plans start without a setup fee for founding clients and renew each month until you cancel. You can cancel any time before your next billing date.

Payment

Setup and project fees are paid before work starts; monthly fees are paid in advance each month through a secure payment link. You can cancel monthly services before your next billing date.

Refunds

One-time work (websites, redesigns, ads, videos and other projects): a full refund if you cancel before we start work; 50% back if you cancel after we deliver the first draft; no refund once the work is launched or delivered in final form. Monthly plans: cancel any time before your next billing date; the current month is not refunded. If we can't deliver what we agreed, we refund what you paid for the undelivered part.

Site credit

Websites we build carry a small "Powered by True North Local" link in the footer. If you'd rather not have it, tell us and we'll remove it at no charge.

Your approvals

You approve the wording of every automated message, website page and ad before it goes live. We do not change approved wording without your OK.

Texting rules

Automated texts go only to people who contacted your business first (for example, a missed call). Every first text names your business and explains how to opt out. Anyone who replies STOP gets no further texts. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. You confirm you're allowed to text the people who contact you.

Your data

Your customer information belongs to you. We use it only to provide your services, we never sell it, and we delete or return it when you leave, on request.

No guarantees

We work hard to help you catch more leads, but we can't guarantee specific results, revenue or bookings.

Limits of responsibility

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. If a problem comes up, contact us first and we'll try to fix it within 30 days. If we can't, disputes are handled in the courts of Queens County, New York, unless the law where you are says otherwise.

Changes

We update these terms as our services change and date every update. For changes that affect current clients, we email you before they apply.
